Apart from Balloon rides at dawn, daytime safaris and evening barbeques (braais) in the bush, there are extra adventure activities to partake in. These include archery, quad biking, drumming, clay target shooting, water activities and hot air balloon rides.

Safety and equipment of highest standard

Sun City's impressive range of features and attractions has just been extended with the establishment of a new Outdoor Adventure Centre operating from the Letsatsing Game Park directly adjacent to complex. As the centre develops, additional activities will be introduced. Note that safety and equipment is of the highest standard and there is public liability cover provided.

Quad Biking

The quad bike adventure is a trail of about an hour led by a highly skilled guide. Participants need no previous experience as instruction in handling the vehicle forms part of the package.

Clay Pigeon Shooting

Clay target shooting is a very relaxing activity, popular with the young and old. The instructors guide participants and there is no need for previous experience.

Archery

Modern recurve bows and more contemporary equipment such as compound bows and powerful crossbows are used for the ancient art of Archery.

Horse Riding

For horse riding enthusiasts at Sun City, there is the option of going on riding trails in a small section of a Private Game Park, suitable for the beginner to the novice, accompanied by a groom.

Water Sports and Activities

Sun City offers fun water based activities including banana boat rides, water-skiing, parasailing, boat rides and more. the Valley of the Waves has exciting slides and rides.

Cultural Tours

Highlights include the day-to-day living in a rural area through song, dance, identifying varieties of traditional dress and sampling the traditional food. Evening cultural dance shows are available.

Zipslide

The Extreme Adventure Slide which is 280 metres high, 2 kilometres long & reaches speeds up to 120 km/h. An adventure not to be missed. Book at the Welcome Centre.

Scooters & Mountain Biking

Sun City activities include mountain biking. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the trail. Scooters are also available and are fun for the whole family.
