Days 1 and 2: Sun City Cabanas Hotel, Sun City Pick up your rental car from O.R Tambo International Airport upon arrival for the 2 hour drive to Sun City. Check into the Sun City Cabanas Hotel, where you will enjoy your Sun City vacation. Your time at Sun City is spent at leisure, enjoying the many attractions and facilities of the resort. Maybe try your hand at gambling, splash out at the Valley of the Waves or just relax in the beautiful surroundings.
Accommodation: Guests are accommodated in 380 en-suite rooms at Sun City Cabanas Hotel. Day 3: Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge, Madikwe Game ReserveFrom Sun City, drive to the Big Five Madikwe Game Reserve, about 3 hours from the resort. This afternoon after check in at Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge, you will have your first exciting 3 – 4 hour game drive which doubles as a night drive for your safari in Madikwe Game Reserve.
You will return to camp for a delicious dinner. Overnight is at Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge, fully inclusive of accommodation, 3 meals daily, and morning and afternoon/evening game drives.
Accommodation: Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge has 8 beautifully decorated suites, each with a viewing deck. Days 4 and 5: Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge, Madikwe Game Reserve These 2 days of your safari will be spent on game drives early in the mornings and late in the afternoons, with time to just relax and get spoiled by the lodge staff. Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge will accommodate you on a fully inclusive basis.
Day 6: Cape Town After breakfast and your morning game drive, head back to Johannesburg to connect with your flight to Cape Town, which departs late in the afternoon. Pick up your rental car at Cape Town International and drive to the city where you will be staying at a Cape Town Hotel of your choice.
Day 7: Explore Cape Town On day 7, you will be picked up from your hotel for a full day Cape Point and Peninsula tour, an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. This trip will be one of the highlights of your Cape Town holiday
Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages can be seen along the way. The Cape Peninsula is one of the world’s most scenic areas and stretches from the City centre to Cape Point.
You will travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach.
Optional: Seal Island boat trip, which is seasonal and not included in the package cost. You move on through to Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent Fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and Zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
After lunch at a nearby restaurant (not included in the cost), you go on to historic Simon’s Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large Penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. The tour ends at ± 17:30 after a visit to the well-known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Days 8 & 9: Cape Town You have 2 full days at leisure to explore the vibrant city of Cape Town on your own time, maybe do some shopping at the V&A Waterfront, visit Table Mountain, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea markets. There is so much to do on a Cape Town holiday. Overnight at your Cape Town hotel.
Day 10: DepartCheck out of your hotel and maybe catch up on some last minute shopping before dropping off your car at Cape Town International before your flight home. Included:Sun City Cabanas Hotel:
